How much would you pay for Ted Bundy's glasses or a lock of Charles Manson's hair? Eric is once again joined by true-blue
Spookaroo Susan Barrett to discuss the buying, selling, and collecting of Murderabilia. It's become something of a growing trend with multiple websites devoted to selling just about anything related to serial killers including their artwork, their prison visitors sheets, and even their hair. Some consider murderabilia part of history; others consider it an exploration of tragedy and the sickest kind of "celebrity obsession". But where do you stand?

We'll also talk about Son of Sam laws and how both their absence and their enforcement can have negative effects on society.

Halloween season is over and your host is falling apart! To give Eric a bit of a rest, we're diving into the archives to reissue episode 3, Ghosts of John Stone's Inn (aka Stone's Public House). Eric has recorded a new intro and outdo with additional commentary and remixed the sound of the original episode so it should sound even better than it did the first time around. Plus this episode is special: it's the first appearance of Jenny "Blades" Lecesse!

Eric and Jennie discuss their hometown haunt: John Stone's Inn as it used to be known or Stone's Public House as it is currently known. Legend has it that a murder took place in the basement and was covered up by townies. Now the murderous spirits are said to haunt the halls of the bar/restaurant...and so does the ghost of their victim! And they aren't alone. Another legend tells of a little girl who was hit by a train just outside of the inn who now roams the upper floors and likes to peer out the windows. It's also said the bloody dress they removed from her body as they attempted to save her life can still be found in the restaurant...if it's not out for framing!

We know it's kind of lame to repost an old episode, but it will be new to many of you and we hope you will enjoy the new content.

Happy Halloween, Spookaroos!!! Eric rushed this episode to be sure to have it ready for you in time for Halloween so please forgive any little mistakes that may have been left in. Yes, host Eric Dwinnells is back to tell you about all the things he did to make the most of this year's Halloween season including a visit to The Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast, Gallows Hill Theater, and The Rebecca Nurse Homestead. He'll also tell you his thoughts on the new Halloween film. Don't worry: no spoilers.

But also on this episode, Eric dives into the history of the infamous Ben Cooper Halloween Costume Company. If you're over 30, chances are pretty good that you owned at least one Ben Cooper costume in your childhood. They were those cheep boxed costumes that came with those thin plastic masks and (usually) plastic smocks with the licensed character's name on them. And what licensee they had! Pretty much every major movie, cartoon or TV was represented with a Ben Cooper costume of varying artistic quality and accuracy.

Tonight Eric ponders the past and possible future of the iconic Ben Cooper costumes and tells you about a recent interview he did with the ICONography podcast.

Last week's episode got a little heavy so this week let's get real dumb! Tonight we celebrate Beavis and Butt-Head in general and Cornholio Lord of the Harvest specifically!

It may or may not surprise you to learn that Eric was a big Beavis and Butt-Head fan during the show's original run so naturally he was tuned in when they aired there one and only Halloween special on Halloween night in 1995. Sure it's crude and dumb but it's also funny as hell...if you have the right sense of humor! Are you fartknockers brave enough to face the wrath of the Almighty Bunghole?

Eric Dwinnells, The Witchfinder General of Salem Massachusetts, has many thoughts about the city in which he carries out his work. So does guest cohost Brian Toney. Tonight they sit down without notes to discuss their true thoughts, feelings and theories about Witch City: Salem, MA.

If you know anything about Salem, it's probably because of the witchcraft trials that took place there in 1692. Ultimately, at least 20 people were executed as a direct result of the witch trials and in the over 300 years that have followed, the city has grabbled with how to deal with this national tragedy. How can you both acknowledge the terror of the tragedy and yet still market it to millions of tourist?

Salem is widely considered the Halloween capital of the world and with good reason: every day in Salem is Halloween. But in October, the city ramps up to a whole new level.Tonight Eric and Brian will talk about what makes Salem so special...and some ways in which (witch?) it could be better!

Tonight Eric looks back on his religious upbringing and realizes everything he thought he knew about the christian afterlife was wrong! Using his natural-born curiosity, Eric has come to find Ghost in The Bible!

What does the bible really say about ghost? What's so bad about talking to the dead? What did Jesus do when he came upon a possessed man? And both The Bible and Eric agree that you should steer clear of psychics and mediums, but they have a difference of opinion as to why!

We'll also touch on what The Bible says will really happen to you when you die and what will happen at the end of the world as we know it. Oh, and we'll talk about The Witch of Endor! No, not THAT Endor. But still cool.

Tonight Eric uses Google Voice to welcome another true-blue Spookaroo on to the show, Jeffrey Bergeron! Jeffrey is a history teacher and he chose tonight's subject: The Witchcraft Trial of Urbain Grandier!

Grandier was a catholic priest in France during the 17th century. He was known as being something of a playboy despite his priestly vow of celibacy. This, plus some unkind remarks he'd made about his superiors in the church made him a lot of enemies. Enemies who would like to see him gone...one way or another!

Eventually, the nuns at the local convent began to claim they were possessed by demons who stole into their bedrooms at night. Mother superior claimed to know who sent these demons: Urbain Grandier!

And so the stage was set for a catholic priest to face charges of witchcraft against a convent of nuns and a slew of powerful enemies.

We always love a good witchcraft trial and this one doesn't fail to deliver. Was Grandier really in league with the Devil? Was he the victim of a political conspiracy? Or can it really all be reduced to the vengeance of a woman scorned? All this and more on tonight's Spooky A S!

What an exciting episode! Host Eric Dwinnells tries using Skype to record an interview for the first time and the best part is...his guest is a true-blue
Spookaroo here to discuss the Circleville Letters!!!

Tonight Spookaroo Susan Barrett joins the show to discuss The Circleville Letters. Starting in 1977 and lasting at least until the mid 90's the small town of Circleville, Ohio and other towns near by began receiving unsigned letters written in strange block-lettered handwriting. The early letters focused on an alleged affair between a local school bus driver and the school Superintendent. The case takes a strange turn when the bus driver's husband dies under strange circumstances and a new bach of letters flood the town.

Then of course, there was the booby trap set to kill the bus driver which contained a gun that belonged to her former brother in law...so case solved, right? WRONG. There is much more to discuss and we'll work through it all on tonight's Spooky A S!
