In Paris, France in 1889, two English women (a mother and a daughter) book a room in a hotel. The mother becomes quite ill with an unknown sickness. The hotel doctor is called and what happens next is...well, we don't want to give too much away. This urban legend causes us to look for its roots. If it's not a true story then why was it made up and why does it get repeated over and over for generations? Does it contain messages about how to deal with foreigners, how businesses will kill you to save a buck, or what to do about illness? All this plus Eric rambles on about his leg and the golden State Killer on tonight's Spooky A S!!! Music by Occultic Overtones Leave a Reply. |
