For about a three year period, Emily's home town of Gulf Breeze, Florida, was caught in the middle of UFO hysteria when a local contractor named Ed Walters claimed to have made contact with alien space craft...and he had remarkably detailed pictures to prove it! The local paper ran with the story and Ed fed them more stories and photos as the months went on...but not everyone believed Ed's wild tales. In fact, after Ed moved out of his home, the next resident claimed to have found a model UFO hidden in the attic. Was this the UFO Ed used to fake his photos or was a skeptical reports out to discredit Ed at all costs? It's a story full of twists and turns including dueling newspapers, trampolines, the local high school, neighbors who called it all a hoax, NASA, and, most importantly, alien beings dressed in a suit of armor!!! Also discussed: The Gulf Breeze Six (aka Doomsday Six), the possibility of life on other planets, Emily's own encounters with UFOs and her theory on what they actually are, and why you should never tell anyone to "calm down" All this and more on tonight's Spooky A S!
