We all know and love Freddy Krueger, the wise-cracking star of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, but did you know the character has real world roots? Tonight, Host Eric Dwinnells and guest co-host Kristen discuss the origin of Wes Craven's most famous creation, Freddy Krueger!
We'll talk about how he got his name, what true life events caused Craven to make him slightly less horrifying than he originally planed, what inspired Freddy's icon glove, and what terrifying childhood event inspired Freddy's famous sweater and fedora style.

But where it really gets interesting is what inspired Wes Craven to turn Freddy into a murderer who attacks in your dreams! An amazing true life mystery that science has no answer for...but folklore does!

He'll also tell you about the boogeymen her feared as a child (including Disney's Mr. Boogedy, Jesus, and the iron centipede at the "naught children's playground" and magical thinking.

Host Eric Dwinnells and guest co-host Fatima Elmi are back to talk about the classic television show Unsolved Mysteries..again! Last time they walked you through the history of the show its self, but tonight they're getting down to the nitty gritty and discussing some of best segments you may have forgotten!

Segments discussed include:
Witch Hunt: The story of Ann Sigmin, a seemingly ordinary housewife and mother, whose life took a dark turn when she started practicing black magic. She is accused of helping her lover, Garey Goff, murder of her estranged husband, Charlie Sigmin.

Teri's Killer: A strange tale involving a strange man named Tim McClure who is suspected of killing his own mother on his wedding night! Tim seems a bit left of center and his actions on the days around the time of the murder are shady AF, but is there a chance he didn't do it? And will there ever be justice for Teri McClure?

Richard's Rampage: College student Richard Church comes home from his first year at school to find his parents are getting divorced and his long time girlfriend, Coleen Ritter, doesn't want to date him any more. On the morning of the day before he's due to head back to school, Richard snaps and breaks into the Ritter's home where he murders Coleen's parents and attempts to murder Coleen's little brother as well as Coleen herself.

Scared to Death: The perplexing tale of Cindy James who endured 7 years of psychological and physical abuse by unknown assailants...or did she? Despite one instance where a knife was stuck through her hand and another where her home was set on fire, police believe Cindy staged all the incidents herself. In 1989 she was found dead, tied up in an abandoned yard. The police claim it was suicide, but Cindy's friends and family believe her killer is still at large.

We'll also discuss some unfortunate deaths that have occurred in the park, and of course, where the ghost of Walt Disney himself may be found.

Also discussed: Can ghosts get "satisfaction?", Disneyland ghost caught on tape, why you shouldn't be miserable in the afterlife, Eric's guide to parenting/ghost hunting aka bait children, what happens when you provoke a Disney ghost, and how/why Aaron will bug famous people he works with to take pictures with his Star Wars toys.
