This is the case that the movie(s) The Town That Dreaded Sundown was based on. Yes believe it or not, the 70's port slasher staring a sack-headed killer was based on true events...loosely based on true events. In part one of this two part series, Eric and Brian will go over the first attack and the first couple of murders. They'll also introduce characters such as Texas Ranger "Lone Wolf" Gonzaullas. Be sure to check out part two for the conclusion of the story as well as a discussion about the man considered to be the prime suspect. spookyas.com facebook.com/spookyas Music By Occultic Overtones pictures coming soon Listen to this episode

Subscribe, rate & review Like us on Facebook Eric Dwinnells is back (on two legs!) to tell you about the Mystery of Room 214! (spoiler alert: this is also known as the vanishing hotel room). In Paris, France in 1889, two English women (a mother and a daughter) book a room in a hotel. The mother becomes quite ill with an unknown sickness. The hotel doctor is called and what happens next is...well, we don't want to give too much away. This urban legend causes us to look for its roots. If it's not a true story then why was it made up and why does it get repeated over and over for generations? Does it contain messages about how to deal with foreigners, how businesses will kill you to save a buck, or what to do about illness? All this plus Eric rambles on about his leg and the golden State Killer on tonight's Spooky A S!!! Music by Occultic Overtones Listen to this episode
