Eric Dwinnells is back to deliver a tribute the pioneering artist, Basil Gogos who created numerous iconic images of some of the sliver screen's most legendary monsters and boogeymen. Many of these images were used to grace the covers of Famous Monsters of Flimland magazine, but he also did artwork for numerous other magazines, western novels, movie posters, and rock album covers including Rob Zombie, The Misfits, and Electric Frankenstein.

Unfortunately, Gogos passed away earlier this month, but on this episode we'll celebrate his life's work and find out why he chose to use so much color in a genre that normally sticks to black, white and grey...with a little red occasionally thrown in. We'll also discover what he considered to be the secret that made his art so impactful and find out what advice he has for aspiring artists.

Also discussed on this episode: Why Eric likes having guests, Salem, MA, Kirk Hammet (of Metallicia) and his love for Basil Gogos as well as his It's Alive horror art exhibit at The Peabody Essex Museum (PEM), Bobby the Brain Heenan, Chiller Theatre, and more!

After battling another summer cold, Eric Dwinnells is back to tell you all about his trip to Salem, NH to visit Mystery Hill aka America's Stonehenge!
The owners of the site would have you believe the caves (well..at least the foundations of them) date back as far as 4,000 years ago. Although they admit that they could have been built by Native Americans, they seem to really want you to believe a yet unknown race of Europeans set up shop in this remote forest in NH THOUSANDS of years before Columbus sailed the ocean blue. But what evidence do they have to support this claim?

There's no doubt it's an interesting spot...but what exactly are the mysteries of Mystery Hill? Is it history or just a hoax?

Also discussed tonight: A possible ghost sighting at George Washington's home (Mount Vernon in Virginia), the sacrificial table and your bedroom, and the underground railroad.

Dipping into the vaults, host Eric Dwinnells presents you with an episode recorded over a year ago! His guest? Tristyn Sepersky. The subject: A very 80's Halloween with Kate & Allie!
Eric held this episode back because he was afraid the subject would only appeal to a select handful of listeners, but encouraged by the success of the recent Punky Brewster episode, he's decided to finally release this "lost episode". And he's happy to do so...he's been watching the Halloween episode of Kate and Allie for 31 years straight! And it's a good one too: It's got 80'd halloween decorations, 80's Halloween masks and costumes, pranks, a ghost, poltergeist activity, messages on mirrors, a seance, the beautiful Ari Meyers, and much more!

Also on this episode: Eric's 1986 Halloween tape, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, is The Simpsons a sitcom?, Suicide Squad, Friends, My So Called Life, and "very special episodes".
