Fresh off a trip to The Chiller Theatre Convention in NJ, Eric Dwinnells and guest co-host Fatima Elmi are back to tell you all about meeting Tim Curry, star of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Worst Witch, It and Clue to name but a few of his iconic roles. You'll also hear about their visit to Lindenhurst, the mansion where the classic Halloween special, The Halloween That Almost Wasn't, was filmed. Plus a visit to the REAL Sleepy Hollow and the RI grave site of a Mercy Brown, a suspected 19th century American Vampire! They did all that in less than 24 hours...what a spooky day!

Eric also dips into the "unreleased archives" to tell Jennie Blades about the first horror convention he ever went to and what happened when he met the legendary WWF (WWE) superstar, Rowdy Roddy Piper! You do not want to miss this epic tale!

This was supposed to be a big Halloween show, but plans fell through. No worries. We'll keep it simple with a nice quiet Halloween at home by the fire. Light up that pumpkin scented candle and let's get going!

How about a dramatic reading of Edgar Allen Poe's The Tell-Tale Heart for a little halloween fun? If you like it, maybe we'll make dramatic readings a Halloween tradition...

Host Eric Dwinnells is joined by Brian Toney as they discuss the full history of Halloween. From it's organs as a Celtic holiday, to it's Catholic appropriation, to trick or treating in the USA, it's all covered here.

Discover why we dress up as monsters, go trick or treating, like to be scared and how it morphed from essentially a kid's holiday in the 50's-70 and into more adult themes in the 80's through present day.

Also discussed, of course, is the conservative christian view of the holiday. Spoiler alert: they aren't big fans...with the exception of Growing Pains star Kirk Cameron!

Eric Dwinnells
and guest co-host Tom Cole are back to talk about talking to the dead! Specifically, they are talking about The Fox Sisters (Maggie, Kate, and Leah). In 1849, a series of strange noises started to emanate seemingly from nowhere in the Fox family home. The family could discover no natural explanation for the sudden knockings, cracks, and bangs so they decided it must be a spirit (naturally!).Ma Fox was unnerved, but the younger daughters (Maggie and Kate) thought of it as new kind of game and started to try to work out ways to communicate with the spirits. When older sister Leah discovered she hd the ability to speak to the spirits too, that's when things really got interesting! Acting as their manager, Leah took Maggie and Leah on a cross country tour that last many years.

It was the birth of spiritualism which became all the rage sweeping the western world from the mid 19th to the early 20th century. And it all started with two girls in upstate New York...but was it all a hoax? Were the girls producing these noises themselves? What was their life like on tour with sister /manager Leah? And whatever happened to Maggie and Kate? Find out tonight!

Also Eric talks about his run-in with the real life Patch Adams and drops so BIG news about his official involvement in the Salem Witch Trials of 2016!!!!
