In Mexico, November 1st and 2nd are known as The Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) so host Eric Dwinnells has asked his amigo Mexicano, Cristhian Mancinas-Garcia, to stop by and tell us all about the centuries old tradition.
Listen as Cristhian explains the origins of the holiday and the role Catholicism played in it. He'll also recall his own childhood memories of celebrating this holiday dedicated to remembrance with his family and explain the use of sugar skulls and other ofrendas.
